Service Cancellation & Termination Policy

1. Introduction

This Service Cancellation & Termination Policy explains how cancellations, terminations and refunds are handled by JixPay (JixTech Private Limited). We aim to act in good faith and with transparency. All customers and employees must comply with this policy.

2 Scope

This policy applies to all products and services offered by JixPay including (but not limited to):

  • Domain registration & transfer
  • Website design & development
  • Digital marketing services
  • Hosting & related services

3 Cancellation by Customer

To cancel a service you must submit a formal cancellation request either from your client dashboard or by emailing support@jixpay.com.

⚠️ Important:

Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Refund eligibility is governed by the Money-Back Guarantee and the terms below.

What to include in a cancellation request:

  • Customer name / company name
  • Invoice / order number
  • Service(s) to be cancelled
  • Reason for cancellation
  • Preferred contact email/phone

4 Termination by JixPay

We may terminate or suspend services (in whole or in part) if:

  • You materially breach our Terms of Service and fail to remedy the breach within seven (7) days of receiving written notice
  • You fail to pay any amounts due when they become payable
  • You become insolvent, enter liquidation, or an equivalent event occurs

Note: On termination for cause, we may immediately block access to services and remove data. At our discretion we may retain data for a limited period to allow you to retrieve it at your expense, subject to full payment of outstanding amounts.

5 Money-Back Guarantee & Refunds

.com 5.1 Domain Registration

  • If you cancel before activation (during pending/review period), you are eligible for a refund minus third-party charges
  • Once activated or registered with the registry, domain registration fees are non-refundable

5.2 Domain Transfer

  • Refund available while transfer is still pending (subject to third-party charges)
  • Once transfer is completed to your account, transfer fee is non-refundable

5.3 Website Design & Development and Digital Marketing

48-Hour Refund Window

  • Refund window of 48 hours (2 days) from order placement or start of intake/discovery phase
  • After 48 hours, fees for work already performed are non-refundable
  • Deposits or milestone payments for completed and accepted work are non-refundable

5.4 Email, Retainers, Subscriptions & Ongoing Services

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Pro-rated refunds for unused time may be available at our discretion

5.5 Non-Refundable Items

  • Third-party costs (premium domains, licenses, marketplace charges)
  • Payment gateway fees and bank/transaction charges

6 Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible
  • Refunds are typically processed within 14 business days of approval
  • You will be notified by email once refund has been approved and processed

7 Data Retention, Backup & Deletion

On cancellation or termination we will do one of the following (as applicable):

  • (a) Immediately delete your data
  • (b) Retain it for a limited retrieval period (default: 30 days)
  • (c) Archive it subject to a retrieval fee

⚠️ You are responsible for downloading and backing up any content you wish to keep prior to cancellation.

8 Outstanding Fees & Set-Off

  • We may deduct any outstanding amounts owed from any refund due
  • We reserve the right to withhold data or refund until outstanding amounts are settled

9 Disputes & Review

If you disagree with a refund decision, please contact support@jixpay.com with supporting information. We will review the decision and respond. Final decisions may be made in accordance with your signed service agreement and our Terms of Service.

10 Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cancellation & Termination Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on our website with the effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
